Privacy and personal data

Data controller

This website is operated by ARTRAIL. For any question or request about your personal data, write to the e-mail address listed in the Contact section of the site.

What we collect

  • Quote form: your name, e-mail address, phone number, city, wall size, surface type, your message and any photos you choose to attach. If you request a quote from a specific project, that project is recorded too.
  • Security: when the quote form is submitted, your IP address is also stored to prevent spam.
  • Visit statistics: which pages are opened, which link you came from, device type, browser, operating system and language. Your IP address is not stored for these statistics and no cookies are used. Only a short code that changes every day and cannot be reversed is used to count same-day visits; it does not identify you.

Why we use it

  • The quote form details are used only to prepare a quote and to get in touch with you. This is based on your explicit consent (the checkbox on the form) and on your quote request.
  • The IP address is used only to prevent spam and abuse.
  • Visit statistics are reviewed in aggregate, without identifying you, to understand which parts of the site are of interest and to improve it.
  • Your data is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing. It is processed only on the server hosting the site and by the e-mail service that delivers notification e-mails.

Cookies and third-party content

The site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. If a video on a project page is hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, it is loaded only when you press play; from that moment the provider's own privacy terms apply.

Retention and deletion

If no agreement is reached after we get in touch, we erase all of our records within 1 year. For work we carry out together, records are kept for as long as legal retention obligations require. Visit statistics are kept for at most 13 months. If you would like your data deleted sooner, just write to us.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (No. 6698), you have the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information about it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Send your requests to the e-mail address in the Contact section; they are answered within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with the reply, you may apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority.
